How to Stop Wasting Weeks You’ll Never Get Back

Hi,

Welcome to the very first edition of Don’t Die in Vain.

I hope you take this newsletter as a wake-up call. A challenge. A reminder that life isn’t meant to be lived on autopilot.

Every week, I’ll be sending you real, unfiltered insights - no fluff, no fake motivation, just the hard truths that push you to step up and make your time count.

So let’s start with this: How do you make sure this week isn’t just another forgettable seven days?

Let’s be real. Most people coast through their weeks, waking up Monday and suddenly looking up on Friday wondering where the time went. They react instead of act. They move through the motions instead of making moves. And then, just like that, another week is gone.

But you’re not here for that. You’re here to make it count.

Here are three ways to make sure this week isn’t just another blur of busywork, distractions, and "I’ll do it later" excuses.

1. Do the Hard Thing First

Most people start their day doing the easiest tasks - emails, scrolling, admin stuff because it feels productive. But real progress happens when you attack the hardest thing first. That project, that decision, that conversation you’ve been putting off? Handle it. Win the morning, and you win the day.

Because let’s be honest, avoiding something doesn’t make it disappear. It just weighs on you. And nothing is heavier than unfinished business.

2. Protect Your Energy

Your energy is your most valuable currency. And just like money, if you’re not careful, people will spend it for you. Unnecessary meetings, draining conversations, notifications pulling you in every direction most of it isn’t helping you move forward.

Audit your time. Where are you wasting energy? Who or what is taking more than it’s giving? Start protecting your space like your life depends on it, because it does.

3. Take One Bold Step

Growth doesn’t come from comfort. It comes from leaning into what makes you uneasy. So, what’s one thing you’ve been avoiding because it feels too big, too risky, or too uncertain? Do it. Send that email. Make that call. Launch the thing. Start before you feel ready.

The best weeks aren’t the ones where everything goes smoothly. They’re the ones where you push past the fear and take action anyway.

Weekly Non-Negotiable

Each week, I’ll give you one task you should do, simple, specific, and non-negotiable if you’re serious about growth

Schedule a Power Hour

Every day, block out one hour for deep, focused work - no distractions, no meetings, no phone. Just you and the thing that matters most. It doesn’t have to be 5AM or some aesthetic morning ritual. Just one protected hour where you're fully dialed in.

Use it to write, strategise, build, learn, whatever gets you closer to your goals.

It sounds simple, but most people never do it. Do it consistently, and you’ll start making more progress in a week than most people do in a month.

One Quote to Shift Your Week

“If you avoid conflict to keep the peace, you start a war inside yourself.” — Cheryl Richardson

People pleasing is self-abandonment with good branding. Speak up. Not to create drama, but to create alignment with others, and yourself.

So ask yourself. Will this be just another week? Or will this be a week that actually moves you closer to the life you want?

The choice is yours.

Stay bold. Stay relentless.
