Stop Rushing! Most Millionaires Aren’t 21.

I want to start with a quote from Theodore Roosevelt, "Comparison is the thief of joy."

Let’s kill this lie once and for all: You are not behind.

You’re just comparing your seed season to someone else’s harvest.

And the worst part? You’re letting social media speed you up.

You see the 21-year-old millionaire, the guy with the G-Wagon and the Rolex, the viral success

And suddenly you feel like your life is moving too slow.

But here’s the truth most people won’t say out loud: Most millionaires are made in their 40s and 50s.

Not 21. Not off a lucky break. Off years of consistency, mistakes, growth, and faith.

GOD USES FARMING ANALOGIES IN THE BIBLE FOR A REASON.

You don’t get fruit without planting seed. You don’t get a harvest without watering, pruning, and waiting.

So why are you expecting to reap in the same season you just started sowing?

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

1. Rushing your purpose ruins your roots.
When you grow fast with no foundation, you collapse just as quick. God will delay the blessing to build your character because He’d rather develop you than destroy you. According to studies, the average self-made millionaire hits it in their late 40s.
Because building something real takes compound effort not just one viral moment.

2. The pressure to be early will make you reckless.
You’ll start rushing. Cutting corners. Living for validation. Taking shortcuts that sabotage the long game. And then you’ll wonder why your house collapsed when the storm hit.

3. The seed grows underground.
You can’t see it. No one claps for it. But that’s where the work happens. Some of you are winning right now you just don’t have proof yet.

4. Social media is showing you the highlights, not the cost.
You don’t see the 10 years of silent work. You don’t see the debt, breakdowns, betrayals, and late nights. All you see is the watch, the car, the followers and you think you’re behind. You’re not. You’re just in seed season.

5. Comparison kills your joy and your momentum.
You’re not behind you’re distracted. Looking left and right instead of looking up and forward. Focus on your row. Water your seed. Stay in your lane.

So stop getting discouraged at 25, 30, or 35 because you’re “not there yet.”

HERE’S WHAT TO DO INSTEAD:

  • Audit who you're watching.
    Protect your focus.

  • Track your own growth.
What you are doing week by week.

  • Build depth, not hype.
You don’t need 100,000 followers. You need 100 strong decisions in a row.

NON-NEGOTIABLE ACTION FOR THE WEEK:
Write down 3 areas in your life where you’ve been comparing your journey.

Then replace each one with a seed action, something small you can do consistently this week that feeds your vision.

Water your own ground.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK: "Play long games with long-term people. The slow path is the strong path." David Olusegun

You want to grow? Then honour the process.

The farmer doesn’t panic because the seed hasn’t sprouted in week one. He knows what’s coming.

Do you?

Stay bold. Stay relentless.
