You’re Not Lazy. You’re Living the Wrong Life.

Last week I had the chance to sit down with a billionaire from the U.S.

No cameras. No ego. Just a real, honest conversation.

And I only got that opportunity because I was bold enough to email him.

No intro. No connection. Just courage. I wasn’t scared. I didn’t overthink it.
I saw an opportunity and moved.

That one email changed everything.

And the biggest thing he said to me wasn’t about strategy, or investing, or scaling…

There’s a version of you buried under everything you’ve settled for.

I know that’s not easy to hear. But I’m not here to stroke egos, I’m here to wake people up.

Because too many people are blaming laziness for a life they never actually chose.

You're not lazy.
You're uninspired.
You're distracted.
You're surrounded by the wrong people, chasing the wrong goals, working jobs you hate, pretending you're okay.

But deep down, you know you're not.

Let me ask you something… when’s the last time you looked at your life and asked: “Did I choose this? Or did I just fall into it?”

Most people are just surviving.
Faking energy.
Playing roles.
Doing what’s expected.
And calling that living.

But let’s be real.

If I gave you a blank slate and a pen no limitations would you rebuild the exact life you're living right now?

Because if the answer is no…then what are we actually doing?

This isn’t about overnight change. It’s about honest ownership.

It's about saying: “I don’t want to wake up in five years and realise I never made a real decision. I just floated.”

You’re not lazy. You’re living below your calling. And your body knows it. That’s why you feel tired all the time.

The life you want?

It’s not built by motivation. It’s built by brutal clarity and consistent action.

You need to start telling the truth:

  • You don’t hate discipline, you hate your routine.

  • You’re not bored, you’re unfulfilled.

  • You’re not “figuring it out” you’re avoiding hard decisions.

So this week, do this:

NON-NEGOTIABLE ACTION:

Get in front of a mirror. And ask yourself the realest question you can: If I keep living exactly how I’m living now, who am I going to become?

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:

"You were born looking like your parents. You die looking like your decisions." David Olusegun

Not who you want to be.
Not who you talk about being.
But the person your current habits, thoughts, decisions and circle are shaping you into.

If the answer makes your stomach turn, good. Let it wake you up.

Now act accordingly.

You weren’t born to just get by.
You were born to build.
To live fully. To lead boldly.
And to stop breaking promises to yourself.

This is your moment.
No more floating.
No more faking it.
It’s time to design a life that actually feels like yours.

Stay bold. Stay relentless.

David
